Description:

This stunning painting, titled 'The View from Eagle Hill', is oil on paper laid down on panel. The luminous sky is the width of the universe, in tones of soft green, gray and cream, with an electric streak of gold with hints of salmon. The quiet land below stretches darkly from misty hills at the horizon to the linear foreground tree lines, interrupted by a narrow line of water. This work glows from within the broad satin black liner in its black 26 inch square frame. Works of Eline Barclay are in major corporate collections and have been in museum and juried exhibits throughout the Eastern United States.
