Description:

Intricately shadowed in blues on white snow amid dark tree trunks, 2 figures trek along a wintery trail in this 4 x 5 inch gem, done in enamel on steel. Seated in black in a brushed aluminum shadow box frame, the exterior dimensions are 8 by 10½ inches.  Artist Stell Shevis, now in her 90’s, has had enamel pieces shown in 6 International Enamel Exhibitions, as well as in Galleries and Museums around the country. Her work is featured in the book Contemporary Enameling.
