Everything is neat and in its place, waiting for the season’s catch.  The gray cottage waits with its door open as the lobster traps yearn for their underwater duties.  The lush summer greens and hillside bask under the clear Maine sky. The wide gold leafed frame measures 12 inches high by 14 inches wide. Artist Payne is represented by the Great Pine Gallery of Kennebunk. Her work has been honored by awards and inclusion in numerous juried shows.
