Description:

This whimsical work of hand sculpted polymers and colored clay is titled ‘Blackbird Tea.’ The teapot dweller has an orange spout, a wire woven handle, and sports two blackbirds to keep him company.  His vest and tunic are splendid in blue, gold and red with cascading pastel ribbons of purple, blue, peach and pink.  He stands 10 inches high on a woven black wire cradle.  This piece is for decorative use only.   Works by award-winning artist Balombini have appeared in galleries and exhibitions from Maine to California, and may be seen at the Firehouse Gallery in Damariscotta and the Red Dot Gallery in Deer Isle.
