A Friend of the Autism Society of Maine

Basket of Hope

A Friend of the Autism Society of Maine - Basket of Hope

Donated by: A Friend of the Autism Society of Maine

Location:   Lewiston

Value:   $135

Description:

This handsome and unique basket was hand-woven by a friend of the Autism Society of Maine. Made of reed with hand-carved handles, the artist has used the colors of the autism awareness puzzle ribbon. Its generous round size, 15 inches deep x 12 inches in diameter, could hold towels, magazines, kindling, or be a useful addition to your office. The oak base is engraved with the puzzle ribbon, as a message of hope for solving the mystery of autism. It is signed by the basket-maker, Linda Chamberlain of Lewiston.
