Description:

With curling, whirling and circling stitchery, we have squares of blue in linear patterns that can easily be seen as individual squares and that are pleasing to admire as a group. This is a symphony of midnight blue, through traditional ticking to pastel, with yellow blends and green - the whole calls out to be hung on a wall or on a bed in a room with a view of open water. The border is composed of alternating bars of blues; the reverse is solid summer blue. This 52 x 66 inch functional artwork is designed, machine quilted and pieced by Betsy Dorr of Auburn. Betsy has been quilting for over 25 years and loves making something special for the auction.
