Description:

This acrylic on archival board distills the essence of the Maine coast.  The subject dory sits serenely on the rocky beach, blending into the still blue water.  The feathery green grass points towards the densely forested island with the bright cloud studded sky beyond. This work is within a deep white matte in a gold washed wood frame of 18 by 22 inches.Artist Gagnon is affiliated with the Art Guild of the Kennebunks and Maine Women in the Arts.
