Description:

The water and woods of Moosehead lake are serene in this oil on canvas. As the light fades, the details of the tree-clad hills merge into the soft blue and green masses above the water.  The sky, with streaks of purple and gold, is reflected below. In its walnut and gold floating frame this work measures 14 by 18 inches.  Artist Caswell has exhibited her work widely in individual and group shows throughout coastal Maine.
