This fine woodcut is signed by the artist and is numbered one of twenty-five. A cloud resembling the prehistoric bird flies over a magical terrain of wind and sea-worn boulders. The rocks are full of energy, as is the wind-blown sky. This work is matted in ivory under glass within a walnut veneered wood frame of 21 by 24 inches. Award winning artist Banquer has exhibited in juried and solo shows in universities and galleries throughout Maine. She is represented by Gem Gallery of Peaks Island and Small Wonder Gallery of Camden.
