Description:

There is both color and movement in the night sky in this dynamic acrylic on water color paper. The dark black of night is subdued by strong tones of emerald and splashes of green, as if the aurora borealis is gracing us with a display. The moon carves a white circle above, emitting shafts of light. This work is double matted in black and off-white under glass within a deep satin black frame of 16 inches square. Artist Adams has been honored by awards and invitations to show her works in museums and university and private galleries throughout Maine and the Eastern United States.
