Description:
This dramatic artist's proof is a photogravure etching on handmade Thai paper. An assemblage of images suggests the shrinking Arctic icecap as it may appear in its diminished dimensions in the year 2020. The images also suggest substance melting or dissolving into space. This is mounted under glass in a deep satin black frame measuring 20 by 25 inches. Artist Rahmani has been in numerous group and solo exhibitions and installations in Maine and beyond.
