'Offering Peace' Wood Sculpture

Description:

This unique wood sculpture carries a strong message. Sculpted hands grasp an object which suggests a munition of war, such as a rocket propelled grenade. The object is concrete, but abstracted by the curve of its fuselage and the presence of stabilizers on each end. This work is to be mounted on the wall, and includes mounting screws. It measures 7 inches deep by 28 inches wide. Artist Lisberger is an instructor in the Art Department of the University of Southern Maine and has exhibited her work in University and private galleries within and beyond Maine.
