Description:

Mythology and whimsy mingle in this fine bronze cast done in the lost wax technique.  The boy rides the seahorse, while its tail is wrapped around what appears to be the tentacle of a squid.  The lovely patina was applied by sculptor Mitch Billis, Jr. at his Montana foundry. This fine work is presented on a circular green marble base which is three inches wide, and stands seven inches high. His work can be seen at Billis Fine Art in BoothbayHarbor.
