Every feature of this fine watercolor is soft and appealing. On a bright summer day, the robust green leaves of the tree welcome us to the neat cape. The soft blue sky blesses the cottage, which proudly shows its blue and purple windows, reflecting the pink and purple flowers gathered round. This work is triple matted in white, gray and ivory under glass within a fine wood frame washed with gold and measuring 23 by 30 inches. The artist paints the seacoast, its gardens and cottages and teaches in Damariscotta and Portland.
