Deep colors resonate in this abstract lithograph and etching. The central rectangle is a carpet of deep mauve. On it dance blueberries in deep blue and purple, succulent and rotund. The border is in shades of deep aqua, accented by lighter tones of green. This work is matted in white under glass, within a handsome blond wood frame of 21 by 24 inches. Works by artist and teacher Hodsdon are in the Portland Musem of Art, Bates College and Farnsworth Museum collections.
