Description:

In this whimsical silk screen a lavender dog floats in the center, held aloft by its balloon composition. It appears to float over what may be the lagoon of Venice, while the gold toned landform and water are encircled by a colorful blue, white a red braid. This unique work is under glass in a deep 10 inch square black Nielsen frame. Artist Baird has signed this artists proof on the reverse. Her works have been shown at the Institute for Contemporary Art in Portland and the Center for Maine Contemporary Art in Rockport.
