Description:

The color and light in this wonderful pastel are delightful.  The horizon glows as if on fire, illuminating the land and the clouds.  Shades of cream, pink and blue radiate above, and gold, deep green and mauve spread across the tree line and the fields.  This work is matted in white under glass in a gold washed wood frame measuring 13 by 15 inches. Artist St. Clair is represented by Gleason Fine Art of Boothbay Harbor.  Her works are in the collections of the BatesCollegeMuseum, the Maine College of Art, The Maine Maritime Museum and MBNA.
