Description:

The subject Canadian goose seems to be enjoying the vista in this fine pastel painting.  The blue sky and quiet blue water provide a perfect backdrop. The trees and bushes stretch into the sky and leave the quiet grassy carpet to the lone goose. The shadows of the foliage frame the bird and play on the still water off the pebbled shore.  This work is matted in gray under glass in a narrow black frame measuring 26 by 31 inches. Artist Workman received his BFA at the University of Southern Maine, and is represented by The Painted Mermaid and Bryan Memorial Galleries.
