Description:
This unique work is created by printing with liquid photographic emulsion on rag paper. In 2002 this image was printed in the arts publication of the University of Southern Maine, Words and Images. The dress form is graced by sinuous limbs of a tree, truly giving the form life, and it stands before a backdrop as an actor on a stage. This work is within a lovely deep oak box frame, mounted on the back board with sewing needles. Artist Donohoe has exhibited her work in the Bar Harbor area. She is a BFA graduate of the School of the Museum of Fine Arts and Tufts University in Boston.
