This very appealing work combines watercolor on paper and the art of collage. The natural colors of the Florida coast unfold in this painting. The sky is striated in soft pastel-like tones of blue, blue-gray, and white as it refracts from the land. Tones of peach, coral, yellow and green play off the blue sky and water in this abstract work. The layers of painted paper add depth and texture. The painting is matted in white with an inner matt of gray, under glass, within a satin silver metal frame measuring 33 by 40 inches.
