Description:

This splendid oil on board by artist Keith Oehmig of Wiscasset is aptly titled ‘Afternoon Light’.  The green and sand fields and pine trees look up into an endless sky. The pale and darker blue tones are a perfect backdrop for the billowing fair weather clouds, rising beyond our view, and stretching out their cream and pink arms as if reciting a benediction. This painting is within a fine silver and gold antiqued wood frame measuring 18 by 22 inches. This luminous work is donated by Wiscasset Bay Gallery, which offers other works of artist Oehmig.  His works are in the collections of the PortlandMuseum of Art, The HunterMuseum of Chattanooga, the WoodMuseum in Chicago, and in fine private and corporate collections in North America and Europe.
