How to Bid & Buy
Our live television auction will air May 2 through May 11. Auction times are Monday through Thursday 8:00 pm to midnight, Friday 8:00 pm to 12:30 am, Saturday noon to 12:30 am, and Sunday noon to midnight. Thanks to the generosity of Oxford Networks, the auction will be seen live on the web at mpbn.net/auction. You and your family and friends from away can watch the auction and bid on selected items on-line or by phoning 1-800-322-1312.

You can spend more time watching for the next item you like and less time on the telephone by using your free personal Express Bid Number.
Call to Bid!
When you see a particular item during the televised auction that sparks your interest, give one of our operators a call at the Auction Hotline1-800-322-1312. Have your Express Bid Number ready to give to the operator.
Bid!
Our operators will take your bid for any item on an open bid board. To ensure accuracy, the operator will need the item number, item description, board name, your Express Bid Number and your name. Bids go to our computer operators who update the bid boards. Bidding on any item ends when the board where it appears is closed. If you are on the phone when a board closes, your bid will still be recorded. Closing and closed boards are indicated by a message that moves across the bottom of your television screen. In the case of Tan Board items, several of the active bidders will be contacted once the board is closed to bidding on-air. Stay by your phone or computer so you can continue bidding off-air.
Bid High!
There are 30 operators taking bids plus bids coming in on-line on the Tan Board items. The bids come in mighty fast during Auction. Since you can not be sure if the high bid is the one that you may have made, bid high and stay by your phone. When a board closes, one of our confirmation operators will call you to verify your bid and make arrangements for you to get the item. If there is a tie on a high bid, the earliest bid always wins.
Confirming Your Winning Bid
When the confirmation operator calls to congratulate you on your high bid, he or she will confirm your item number(s) and ask for your payment method and preferred item delivery arrangements.
Payment Methods
Cash at the time you pick up your item(s).
Check or Money Order, made payable to: MPBN. Please write the item number(s) on the check. There will be a $20 charge for returned checks.
Visa, Master Card, Discover and American Express credit cards are accepted.
Receiving Your Item(s)
Lewiston - You can pick up your item(s) at our Lewiston studio, May 3 to May 11, from 9:00 am to 9:00 pm, May 12 to May 17, from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, and starting May 19, 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday.

Bangor - After June 1 and by appointment only, merchandise can be picked up at our Bangor studio, located at 65 Texas Avenue. There is no additional charge for a Bangor pick-up. You must pre-pay through our Auction office in Lewiston with a check or credit card before you can receive your item(s). Ask your confirmation caller for details. You will be contacted by phone when your item arrives in Bangor.

Check Your Mailbox
After payment is received, gift certificates will be sent through the U.S. Mail at no charge to you.
Look for the Big Brown UPS Truck
Most items can be shipped for a nominal charge through UPS. A street address is required (UPS will not deliver to a P.O. Box number). However, many heavy, fragile or bulky items can not be shipped. When bidding on a large item, please keep in mind that it may have to be picked up at our Lewiston or Bangor studios.
