Speed, elegance, and environmental compatibility characterize this versatile cedar strip canoe. It is approximately 14 feet in length,  30” at the beam, has custom crafted enclosed bow and weighs only about 30 pounds. This canoe’s unique history started as a gift which was donated as a raffle prize, and won by Edwards, Faust & Smith, a group of CPA’s of Bangor, who in turn decided to donate it to the Great TV Auction. Only a few small cosmetic marks can be noticed from the original maker’s initial test rides, otherwise the canoe has been kept in like-new condition. Cedar “stripper” canoes are in demand due to their unique natural variations in color and grain, low weight, and easy maneuverability.  Now, you have an opportunity to own one because your best bid could have you merrily paddling down the stream
