Corporate Underwriting on the Great TV Auction – another marketing option…
This year, the Great TV Auction is offering several creative options for corporate broadcast underwriting. We have donors, viewers, and listeners in all communities throughout Maine, and our goal is to offer our underwriters different marketing strategies at affordable levels.
Who should underwrite?
Underwriting is a smart option if your business:
- Has a presence in Maine and you wish to demonstrate your contribution to and interest in the Maine community, OR
- Does not offer a specific item or service that meets the guidelines for on-air Auction presentation, OR
- Is trying to reach a large statewide audience, OR
- Is focused on a smaller target market---we have underwriting options which highlight businesses of a certain geographical area or product interest
Why should I underwrite?
- Support quality radio and television programming in Maine, a vital community resource available to all people at no charge.
- Reach a potential of over one million viewers and members who prefer to patronize community-minded businesses that support public broadcasting.
- Did you know? 70% of television viewers believe that companies that fund public television have a commitment to quality and excellence.
- MPBN’s broadcast coverage reaches 99% of the households in Maine, as well as southern New Hampshire and New Brunswick, Canada.
- Bring your employees to volunteer for an enriching and fun group experience!
- MPBN is a qualified charitable organization. Contributions from U.S. donors are generally deductible at fair market value under the IRS Code. We suggest that, in individual cases, you consult with your accountant.
