Made in Maine: Bargains in Maine

Watch a Video Preview Large Download player small

Lou McNally hosts this Made in Maine from the Montsweag Flea Market, a time tested traffic stopper on coastal Route 1 in Woolwich. Viewers meet some regular exhibitors, and also the woman who’s made it all possible for the past 29 years -- the flea market’s founder and owner, Norma Scopino.

From Woolwich, Made in Maine travels up the road to Damariscotta to visit John and Bob Reny, the two brothers who are carrying on their family’s tradition of providing retail bargains at their Reny’s stores throughout the state.

Bargain hunting in Maine would be almost unimaginable without Uncle Henry’s, the essential weekly buying and selling guide. Made in Maine meets the publishers of Uncle Henry’s in Augusta, including a sit-down visit with the original Uncle Henry himself.
