Programming Notes

"Speaking in Maine" joins the Midcoast Forum on Foreign Relations in Camden for a talk by Justin Raimondo. He is an author the editorial director of Antiwar.com, and a senior fellow at the Randolph Bourne Institute, in Atherton, California. His online column, "Behind the Headlines," deals with foreign policy from a non-interventionist perspective. His talk is entitled "The Middle East: Turning the Page on U.S. Foreign Policy". Raimondo often presents his brand of libertarianism and anti-war sentiment to audiences on college campuses and at national political events "Speaking in Maine" next airs on the radio stations of MPBN Friday, May 16 at 1:00 pm.

"Friday Night Jazz" is hosted by Rich Tozier and is an original production of the Maine Public Broadcasting Network. It airs Friday, May 16 at 9:00 pm. This week, Amina Figarova's richly-textured "September Suite," released in 2005, will be featured. Figarova is a native of Azerbaijan who now makes her home in the Netherlands.
