February 15, 2014
Biathletes on the shooting range in Presque Isle

MPBN Community Films tells the story of the biathlon and it's popularity in Aroostook County. It's a sport that includes the heart-pounding excitement of nordic ski racing with the quiet, steady calmness needed for target shooting.

Biathlon has taken off in Aroostook County with the construction of two world class biathlon stadiums. Biathlon Comes to the County looks at all sides of the biathlon phenomenon - the impact on the local economy, on The County's youth, on the media and the  involvement of hundreds of volunteers who help make world class biathlon events a reality in Aroostook County today.
